What I Wore: By The Sea Shore

I actually wore this outfit on Wednesday when Greg and I drove his mom and Grandpa to the small town of Port Rowan with it's population of 800 people! Ah! Such a cute, but insanely small town!

That day we drove 3 hours, checked in to the cutest little bed and breakfast then dropped his mom and Grandpa at his Grandpa's banker reunion party. I'm sure you'll hear about Greg's Grandpa many times in this blog because I think he is the most adorable old man on the planet! He really is the epitome of cute old man.

Anyways, I digress. After we dropped them off at the party we walked around the downtown area and went to an awesome thrift shop run by two of the cutest old ladies. I picked up a Harry Potter book and belt for 50 cents each, and a super tacky nautical sweatshirt as a gift for my little sister. Somehow she can rock the tackiest of sweaters and make them look super fashionable. I'm jealous.

Then after 10 minutes of walking up and down the downtown area (yes, it really was that small of a town) we headed to the next biggest town to explore. We found a nice beach where we spent our afternoon, then headed to the downtown area to do more thrifting and sight seeing. After dinner at some random mexican restaurant we headed over to the theater which had only 2 screens to play movies! I can't believe it, 2 screens! At home we have like 24 screens in our movie theatre. Anywho, we saw Cars 2 which was fantastic, then headed back for an early night.

It was nice to finally shop at a real thrift store instead of Value Village because most of the time the prices at their store aren't much different than what you'd pay at a store. These thrift stores had so many cool things. Greg ended up buying 3 books by Winston Churchill from the 50s and an entire set of medical encyclopedias from 1970 as a gift for my little sis. (She lucked out on gifts for no reason!)

I can't wait to drive up for another weekend with Greg and probably my sis to explore and thrift some more!

Outfit Details:

Dress: Joe Fresh - I love the sunset pattern so much!
Cardi: Urban Behaviour
Hair Clip: H&M
Bracelet: No idea. I found it on the ground when I was a little kid and kept it ever since.

Also, since I end up posting these outfits different from the day they were taken on, I think I'll start giving these outfit posts fun names instead of dates. Not that it really matters for you guys, but if I write it down, then I'll remember for next time!

Later days!
