Jenn & Andre's Wedding

I'm back from what I can only describe as my dream wedding. Greg's cousin had the most magical and intimate of weddings and I'm so happy I could be a part of it.

So instead of telling you about the wedding I'm just going to share some pictures from this lovely event. (Sorry, no photos of the bride and groom since I didn't ask their permission)

Pretty much everything you see was made by the bride. She drew and coloured each of her wedding invites, made the red glitter hearts as seen in her bouquet, the white flowers hanging around the house were crafted by her and her mom one night, and she created the "all you need is love" sign. She's such an artsy person, I love it!

In the last picture, you will see the story each of us got at our place setting with 2 small gifts. The first was a red chocolate heart and the other was a chunk of rock salt which looked like beautiful crystals sitting on the table. The story told us that the rock salt was from a local mine and that in ancient times salt was given as a offering of peace and love. I though that was a really nice touch and it's way better than pillow mints. I also love how the border on the paper matched the drawings on her wedding invites, which again, the bride drew.

I really hope my wedding will be as lovely and personal as this when I get married.

P.S. Thanks ladies for helping me decide what to wear. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of my full outfit -fail- so I'll have to dress up another day and take pictures.
