What I Wore: Sew Bubbly

Fun fact: I love sewing dresses for myself, it's so much fun! Maybe I'm crazy, but there's something so exciting about walking through the fabric shop, fawning over all the pretty materials and trying to visualize what the end product will be. I actually bought this fabric 2 years ago for another project but when I came across this Cynthia Rowley pattern, I knew it was meant to be! I love the retro feel of the dress and the red and blue bubble pattern makes it so cute. I know for sure I'll be making a few more dresses in the future using this pattern. It's just so perfect! (Plus who doesn't love owning a one-of-a-kind dress?)

This necklace is also pretty darn fantastic and my mind is blown that my sister found it at a thrift shop. Who would give away such a sweet necklace? That's crazy talk right there! Oh well, one person's trash is another one's treasure, amirite? Now to break into this song! It's such a catchy cover of Thrift Shop (40s style).

And here's a bonus picture of my adorable pup who is in serious need of a hair cut. What a little fluffernutter!
