There was a giant thunderstorm and tornado watch last night for my area. Greg and I grabbed the camera and tripod then ran outside to a nearby field to take pictures. I know, metal + open field + lightning = stupid, but whatever. We had fun!
If you really want to get a feel for how crazy the storm was last night watch this beautiful video. It was taken in Toronto which isn't far from where I live. In fact I could see the lightning hitting the CN tower from where I was standing in Oshawa.
It's my dream to go storm chasing one day, that or swim with great white sharks.
...Yeah, my interests aren't too safe.
