Black Creek Pioneer Village
One day Greg and I made a bucket list of all the fun places we want to explore this summer. Originally we were going to check out the new Renaissance Festival that just opened up in Woodstock but we decided that that kind of event is better suited for a group of people. So instead we crossed off another historical place, the Black Creek Pioneer Village which is up in Toronto.
I couldn't believe how many kids were running around the place in costume! I think they were all relatives of the men in the reenactment battle, but still, it was a super cute thing to see.
What was really cool was the special Father's Day weekend event where people from all over Canada, America and even Korea flew in to reenact the Revolutionary War. We had never seen a reenactment battle before so that was interesting. Though it was kind of funny and weird when you would hear the leader of the group whisper to his members "Ok after they shoot you're going to fall down and pretend to die". It kinda ruined the surprise, but it was still neat to see.
Do any of you have a summer bucket list? If so what are some of the things you want to accomplish?
